Names in the Allegheny Circuit Records are indexed. However, those in the Roster of Ministers, Bibliographies, Errata, Staff, and Preface are not. Names on photographed stones appear in italics.

United States locations are indexed under the state name and county name if identified. Abbreviations of local place names are cross-referenced to complete names and, for Pittsburgh and Allegheny County, local names are indexed under these particular categories.
